Dr. Corey Idrogo, D.C.
Chiropractor

Dr. Corey Idrogo offers chiropractic care, sports rehab, and physical medicine services at Centered Health & Wellness to help residents in Chattanooga, TN with a variety of issues. Dr. Idrogo grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania where he was a multi-sport athlete although he excelled at amateur wrestling. He was recruited to wrestle at Slippery Rock University, however, he left school after a year to enlist in the Army. He elevated quickly through the ranks to the position of Sergeant in the infantry and had been deployed twice into combat during his career. Following his military career, he moved home to attend the University of Pittsburgh. It was while he was going to school that an injury that he sustained while in the military to his lower back started to affect his ability to exercise and stay active. He would have pain and spasms that would travel into his buttocks making it hard to sleep, move and also caused some digestive problems. He went to a close friend for help who happened to be a chiropractor and without the use of drugs or surgery, was able to live a normal life without pain or symptoms. It was through his friend’s mentoring and stories of great miracles of chiropractic that he packed up all his belongs to move to Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Idrogo completed his education at Palmer College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Idrogo has received post-graduate training and certification in structural (postural) analysis and correction (Chiropractic Biophysics), low back pain diagnosis and treatment, advanced soft tissue (muscular) treatments and Functional Movements of the body (Selective Functional Movement Assessment).

Dr. Corey moved to the Chattanooga, TN area to be closer to his family after practicing in downtown Chicago at a multi-disciplinary practice with medical doctors, nurses & acupuncturists. He is accompanied by his wife, Brooke Idrogo, their English Bulldog Nucky, and their rescued French Bulldog Vinny. Dr. Corey’s hobbies include fishing, hiking, and functional exercise.

Dr. Suzanne Hornsby, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner

I went to Baylor for high school, so I feel like a Chattanooga girl even though I actually grew up on a dairy farm in Decatur, TN. Growing up on the farm taught me the value of hard work, and gave me a special appreciation for getting away from the city life pace every now and then. My dad and grandparents still live on the farm, but my mom and brothers are now living down here in Chattanooga, so I can truly say Chattanooga feels like home. My main hobby/passion is CrossFit. I have seen CrossFit change lives; getting patients off antidepressants, anxiolytics, antihypertensives, and even Diabetes and ADHD medications. It provides an outlet like none other. I can’t wait to work with Dr. Idrogo here at Centered Health and Wellness, to not only provide patients with pain/symptom relief, but also health prevention activities that can improve overall quality of life for many years to come.
